Robert Carlin joined Fairfax Partners, LLC, in February 2002 as a Principal and Operating Partner to provide financial and operational expertise to Fairfax portfolio companies.

Mr. Carlin has served as President and Chief Financial Officer at Gallagher Marine Systems, Inc., where through organic growth and acquisitions he developed Gallagher into the leading provider of regulatory services related to Oil Pollution Act of 1990.  At the time of its sale Gallagher Marine provided services to over 50% of the ships trading to the United States.

Mr. Carlin also served as the Chief Executive Officer of HealthASPex, Inc., a Fairfax Partners portfolio company that developed an electronic on-line claims processing business.  HealthAspex was eventually sold to Tela-USA.
